Miami International Map Fair events (except as noted) take place at the Historical Museum of Southern Florida, (101 West Flagler St) located in downtown Miami at the Miami-Dade Cultural Center. The museum is centrally located in the city and on Miami's Metrorail and Metromover lines at Government Center Station. Parking is available next door to the museum at the Metro-Dade Center Garage, 50 N.W. 2nd Avenue. The covered walkway from the garage takes you directly to the Plaza of the Cultural Center. |

Registration PackageRegistration as a participant includes all events and program sessions, unless expressly indicated. The registration fee for participants is $65 per person ($55 for Historical Museum members). Participant registration will be confirmed in writing. |
TransportationParticipants should arrange their own transportation and lodging. The Historical Museum is a 15 minute drive from Miami International Airport. Transportation by taxicab to the museum can be obtained on the Ground Transportation level of the airport. Kendale Lakes Travel can also offer special Miami Map Fare discounted airfares on American Air Lines. Call 1-800-477-0995 or 305-385-3191 for further details. |
Hotels Offering Special Map Fair RatesThe following hotels are ready to assist you in making your reservations. All hotel rates are before taxes are added (13%). Mention you are attending the Map Fair in order to obtain preferred rates. The InterContinental Hotel will be unable to provide rooms for our Map Fair guests in February. The other hotels are taking reservations, and you may book rooms directly. |
