Program ChangesPlease be aware that the InterContinental Hotel will be unable to provide rooms for our Map Fair guests in February. See Arrangements for other hotels. The cocktail reception and dinner on Friday evening, February 3, 2006, has been moved to the Radisson Hotel Miami, 1601 Biscayne Blvd. The same time and price will apply. We look forward to seeing you in February. The 2007 FairThe 14th Annual Miami International Map Fair will be held January 27 & 28, 2007. There will also be a cocktail reception and dinner on Friday, January 26th. We have had to change our normal first weekend in February dates in 2007 because the National Football League will hold the Super Bowl in Miami that weekend, and hotel rooms will be scarce and at a premium. Because finding hotel rooms could be difficult even a week in advance of the Super Bowl we are working with Kendale Lakes Travel to block hotel rooms and assure that there are adequate accommodations. Kendale Lakes Travel (1-800-477-0995) is available to make all travel arrangements, including booking discounted flights on American Air Lines. |
