Alligator Crossing |
by Martin Monique Hand and machine piecing A former Miamian, Ms. Monique now lives in Dourdan, France, but still has a feel for South Florida. The exotic Everglades and its outlying ecosystems are part of every Miamian's legacy. Ms. Monique writes "Alligators are frightening and you live with them, but where are the warning signals?" She made this quilt block as a lighthearted tribute to man versus nature in Miami. |
